This page makes light.
On a display with headroom, small parts of these boards will be brighter than anything else on
your screen. That is the point of the games, and worth knowing first.
Small and still. Above-white content is capped at 1% of your viewport. Nothing on a play surface animates.
Slow and bounded. The one brightness control is limited in code to one change every 1.6 seconds, against the 3 Hz limit in WCAG 2.3.1. Emitters stop at 650 nits.
Reversible. Reduce intensity and Flatten HDR sit in the header on every screen. Flatten is never gated behind a game.
Photosensitive epilepsy affects roughly 1 in 4,000 people. No automated checker can verify
content like this: WCAG's flash model normalises 1.0 to CSS white and cannot express
brighter-than-white at all. The limits above are enforced in code rather than certified by a
tool. If bright light bothers you, use Flatten HDR. The games still work.
