A blue logo that looked impossibly bright.
The original woven-hexagon graphic was not animated and did not rely on CSS blur. Its JPEG carried a Rec.2020 PQ profile, so the white line work represented thousands of nominal nits while the blue stayed comparatively dim.
ShinyPic recreates that idea: it finds a small mask, converts sRGB into linear light and Rec.2020, maps the selected pixels to 700–6,800 nominal nits, PQ-encodes them, and embeds the Rec.2100 profile in the saved JPEG.
